The Offense:
Offensively the first house looked like it was a struggle, although Zeke and Tony Pollard or consistent all game long passes were not there in the first half. Only scoring ones and going into the half down six. This was Tyler Smith's worst game by far of his rookie campaign. Allowing seven pressures which was the most he's allowed all year. He had his moments where he looked ok but most of the game he was getting blown by or push through the defensive end. Unfortunately rookie have a poor performance, but on the other side of the line Terence Steele has shown that he was worth every penny and letting go of La'el Collins. Cedee Lamb had another awesome game as he leads the NFC east in receiving yards, he is now in second place in the NFC for receiving yards. He had one amazing catch that was one handed. Lastly it looks like we have our quarterback in Dak Prescott back. He played a great game especially in the second half. Our trio of titans have looked to be one of our hotspots as Dalton Schultz had a couple for himself, and even Peyton Hendershot had a rushing touchdown. Jake Ferguson even had a massive play of his own when he hurtled over a Giants defender, pictured below. Jake and Payton are definitely the tight ends of our future and I'm glad that we can enjoy all three of them together as I don't think the Cowboys will be able to afford Dalton Schultz at the end of this year.

The Defense:
Defensively, the first half also looks like a struggle. Although we did stop them a couple times we allowed 13 points and a couple easy drives. In my opinion the referees were not the greatest, as they nitpicked both sides for many defensive calls which the Cowboys normally do but it showed when both sides are being called for penalties that didn't even look like penalties. With that being said Michael Parsons has consistently shown that he is up for contention of defensive player of the year with his sixth game this year with two Sacks. Alongside Micah Parsons is Dorance Armstrong, we let go Randy Gregory and that was a massive story this off-season, Armstrong has filled his shoes fantastically and has save the Cowboys a lot of money. Our secondary this game did not look the greatest, Anthony Brown also has consistently shown that he is the weak link on this defense, I fear if we face a very good quarterback, such as Tom Brady, they will pick on him and he will not be able to recover. Trevon Diggs for the first time this year allowed a pretty big pass however he didn't allow a touchdown, the rookie Bland, has been steadily getting better game by game. Hopefully he can take Anthony Browns spot by the time playoffs role around! DeMarcus Lawrence also had a very big game with seven pressures from the defensive end spot.

Upcoming:
Coming up we have the Indianapolis Colts who have recently gone through a lot of changes and the team looks to be either very scary or in shambles. It really depends week to week as they've already beating the Chiefs and almost beat the Eagles, but they've also lost to the steelers who don't look all that great as of recently. I'm expecting a Cowboys win the next few weeks as we are home two weeks in a row and we are going to be playing struggling or mediocre teams.
